**SCOPE OF ROLE**:
To work as a team member to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the guestroom, bath room, in the public areas assigned to them. To report any maintenance defects. Handling request of the external and internal customer in a Professional & courteous manner.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
1. Adhere to ABC to Housekeeping & Quality Assurance Standards, when cleaning showers & toilets.

2. Responsible to meet the guest request in a responsive & courteous manner and be of assistance

To other associates.

3. To genuinely care for the guest well-being and take pride & ownership in the assigned job.

4. Abides by the key handling procedures and ensures that all room doors are secured, follow procedure

when entering the washrooms.

5. Abides by the lost and found procedures found around the Public Areas.

6. Adheres to the OSHA chemical safety handling procedures &Hygiene & Sanitation.

7. Safeguard and protect hotel property and be cost conscious.

8. To tour and inspect the area assigned and carry out work on areas that required immediate action

9. To handover at the end of the shift or at the next briefing, tasks completed and tasks still outstanding.

10. To vacuum the room and public areas

11. To handle the project / thorough cleaning of:

- carpets, using different carpet cleaning techniques
- the upholstery and the drapery
- the hard flooring using the scrubbing machine
- marble / granite restoration
- Glass cleaning & Mirror cleaning

**Daily cleaning**
- To wipe the furniture, fixtures and fitting and cobweb dusting
- To stock up guest supplies and deliver any request by internal & external customers.
- To clean the designated public areas assigned by the Senior Housekeeper, PIC and to perform any other tasks in relevance to maintaining the cleanliness of the hotel and the efficiency of the department.
- Multi skill & learning to clean the guestroom in accordance to ABC cleaning sequence
- A - Away with the old (Rubbish, dirty Linen, surrender Lost & Found) Report defect

B - Bed making

C - Spray chemical, scrub, leave to stay for 5-8minutes)

D - Dusting the room

E - Vacuum the room

F - Refill guest supplies & ensure nothing is left in the room

To take ownership of the utensils and equipment:

- Dirty mop heads are recorded sent to the laundry for washing
- Vacuum cleaners are properly cleaned out
- All equipment is put away neatly and locked up at the end of the day

To carry out end of the shift duties
- To keep the guest corridor floor & corridor glass clean
- Keeping the service lift landing floor, walls & shelving clean.
- Keeping the pantry clean & tidy
- Replenish the trolley after completing the shift
- To clean the vacuum, cleaning utensils & equipment used.
- To report any maintenance issues in guestroom & Public Area.
- To develop skills in carpet &upholstery cleaning, basic floor care, advance floor care

**Salary**: RM2,450.00 - RM2,799.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
