We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of **Assistant Manager Finance**.

**Principal Responsibilities**:

- Preparation and submission of Capital/RWAs (Risk Weighted Assets) reporting to Central Bank (BNM) for HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad (HBMY) and HSBC Amanah Malaysia Berhad (HBMS). This includes analysis and commentaries to BNM.
- Prepare the trend analysis to study and monitor the movements of the financial numbers in relation to Capital/RWAs.
- Support Board and management committees through preparation of timely & accurate reports. Also to assist in handling Business queries pertaining to PRA (Prudential Regulation Authority) RWA and BNM RWA reporting requirements.
- Prepare Pillar 3 disclosures in financial statements and work closely with internal audit who will review the disclosures.
- Assist in preparation of base data for stress testing exercise to Risk team for local BNM stress testing submission.
- Perform gap analysis on BNM related guidelines on financial reporting and work with stakeholders to ensure implementation of the new requirements.
- Assist and support Manager in investigation and system issues from Ray Fermat system. This includes UAT and local system enhancements to support Local BNM reporting requirements.
- Handle other thematic Regulatory Reporting returns to the Central Bank.
- Assist Managers in ad-hoc queries and projects.
- Assist to review and improve the control governance processes of the regulatory reporting, especially those in-scope for BNM SREF (Statistical Reporting Enforcement Framework).
- Ensure adherence to HSBC Internal Control Standards, including timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators Identify and support the digitalisation solutions to streamline the regulatory reporting processes.

Requirements

**Requirements**:
- Minimum with Degree qualification. Possessing one to two years of related knowledge and practical experience of regulatory reporting will be additional advantage;-
- Technical knowledge of Finance is a must, gained either through job experience or educational background;Effective communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, and maintaining strong working relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders;-
- A fast learner, and able to multi-task;-
- Good time management, analytical and problem solving skills;-
- A good team player; and-
- Adaptable to a dynamic environment and able to deliver consistent performance.**You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC**
