**What You'll Be Doing**:
**_ Financial Controller_**
- You'll handle daily financial operations from accounts receivable and payable to intercompany transactions, cash management, and more.
- Ensure our day-to-day financial operations and month-end close processes run without a hitch.
- Analytical review of Financial Report and oversee the preparation and analysis of balance sheet schedules and reconciliations.
- Maintain accounting records in line with AirAsia’s policies and GAAP standards.
- Analyze financial reconciliation data, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with intra-group finance personnel across Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
- Work closely with external/internal auditors and other stakeholders.
- Manage foreign outsource tax and accounting books for Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
- Help prepare the consolidated financial statements for BIGLIFE Group.
- Perform analysis and provide insights on financial performance to Group Finance.

**_ Cash Management:_**
- Assist in planning and managing cash flow, working closely with the commercial and finance teams.
- Support and improve AR and AP internal controls and processes.
- Conduct monthly AR reviews and manage the Procure to Pay process.
- Handle banking tasks, including liaising with bankers for customer refunds and cash management.
- Vendors and customers management including customer services and payments.

**_ Other Responsibilities:_**
- Ad-Hoc Projects, implement and coordinate finance business initiatives, like driving digitalization to boost efficiency and accuracy.
- Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of finance operations through process improvements and standardization.
- Take on other tasks as needed.

**What We're Looking For**:

- A degree in Accountancy, Finance, or IT. Professional accounting qualification is a plus.
- Experience in an accounting firm or financial services industry is preferred.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and handle ambiguity well.
- Meticulous and have an eye for detail in all aspects of your work.
- Work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Bring a high level of creativity and enjoy doing independent research.
- Work efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
- Good command of English and excellent report-writing skills.
- Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides. Experience with Google Looker Studio, Power BI, SQL, or scripting is a plus.
