Retail Operations Manager

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for the day-to-day retail operations efficiency
- Responsible for the effectiveness of the retail staff in terms of product knowledge, selling skills, customer service, SOP and wellbeing
- Responsible for the sales achievement and inventory control
- Monitor the compliance of operational processes with the prescribed SOP and to recommend workarounds/revisions to address potential shortcomings/lapses
- Manage all activities and processes pertaining to logistics and delivery of stocks to/between retail outlets
- Propose the visual merchandise display at outlets in line with the prescribed layout/planogram and oversee the implementation process
- To schedule and assign staff/store manager on their daily /monthly routine work
- To assist in recruitment and train new employees
- Monitor market developments and recommend strategies to address potential opportunities and threats
- Liaising with shopping malls management on tenancy agreement, marketing/promotion and opening of temporary and permanent kiosks/outlets. Setting up of temporary or new kiosk
- Conduct market research and prepare detailed information on new store operation to support management decision making
- Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics-identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensure effective inventory management and accurate record keeping, including accurate demand forecasting, inventory optimization, timely replenishment and minimizing stock discrepancies
- Any other ad hoc tasks that are instructed by your PIC relating your responsibilities
**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- At least (2-5) two-five years of working experience in the Retail industry (Hypermarket/Grocery) related field is required for this position
**SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- Retail management, selling, customer service, inventory management, merchandising, staff management, & sales performance
- Organised, confidents, result-oriented, and enjoy the challenge of working environment in a competitive and fast paced environment
- Required language(s): English and Bahasa Melayu (Mandarin is an added advantage)
- Able to work at Bandar Tasik Selatan (Neaby Bandar Tasik Selatan LRT/MRT/KTM station)
**Salary**: RM7,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
