**Job description**:

- Coordinates and administers international student support to enrolled and prospective students, such as course registration, graduating processing, petitioning, withdrawals, program documentation, computer accounts, information sessions, receptions and student orientations.
- Counsels and confers with students providing program procedures, policies, goals, and objectives, technical guidance, and problem resolution. Direct international students to appropriate advisors or departmental managers.
- Ensures international students orientation goals are met.
- Assisting students with daily issues such as course registration, visa renewal, bursary communication, learning management systems access.
- Assists in collaboration with other universities and/or departments to ensure a coordinated approach to international student engagement and retention activities.
- Initiates, develops, and sustains strong positive relations with program coordinators and departmental leadership to ensure achievement of the mission and goals of the department and university.
- Reviews international student records on database, creates and provide reports. Provide contact points for enrolled student information.
- Assists in the development and production of program advertising, promotional flyers, and related recruitment initiatives by being a point of contact for international students' assembly.
- Attends and participates in staff meetings, professional development seminars and other international student support related meetings.
- Assist in providing cross training to program staff as required.
- Coordinates international students' accommodation initiatives such as collabiration with tenancy management companies, agents and other accommodation providers to ensure international students have variety of options for their stay around campus (PJ and Cyberjaya).
- Liaison with student organizations - Student Representative Council, Clubs as well as Alumni to ensure campus activities are meeting demand and needs of current students and alumni.

**Requirements**:

- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Education, Counseling, Administration, or a related discipline is usually required.
- Prior experience in student affairs, international student services, or higher education administration is highly desirable. Experience with international student populations is an advantage.
- Proficiency in dealing with diverse cultures and international students is essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Multilingual proficiency, especially in languages commonly spoken by international students, is a valuable asset.
- Strong counseling and advising skills are required to guide and assist students in understanding program procedures, policies, and academic requirements.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with learning management systems and other relevant technology platforms is valuable.
- Familiarity with immigration and visa regulations for international students is important for assisting students with visa renewal and related matters.
- The ability to collaborate with various stakeholders within and outside the university, such as student organizations, alumni, and tenancy management companies, is essential for enhancing the student experience.

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
