**Position overview**:
Are you experience in oganizing production according to demand and quality standards and be the one to ensure our goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner?
allnex is inviting you to join our Planning team in **Seremban, Malaysia** as **Production and Material Planner **in **Malaysia **to coordinate and drive** **S&OP, sales & operations planning, process for** Asia Pacific** region in collaboration with the regional BU director(s), manufacturing organization and supply chain taking into account the inventory strategy, service levels, capacity utilizations and global supply plans.
You will manage the activities of the local production scheduling team to address short and medium term issues, opportunities and scheduling options to optimize flexibility, supply and cost.
What is more interesting? You will also be correlate output from Demand process and co-ordinate rough cut capacity planning to support business partner on planning for 6-18 month capacity planning input. A great opportunity for you in this role will be leading and coordinating crisis in the region related to Raw Material supply issues, manufacturing issues, transport issues.

**Responsibilities**:
- Lead planning team to achieve the target set by management.
- Maintain and review a range of planning performance measures to drive continuous improvement.
- Lead and coordinate S&OP process for the region with an action list.
- Manage the capacity planning for all plants.
- Drive long term capacity and production plan in the region.
- Organize and lead the quarterly regional SMOG review meeting with business, manufacturing, quality and finance with outcome to have a SMOG analysis and action tracking.
- Improve service to our customers by leading cross functional root cause analysis and implement.
- Work with Global and X-function teams in executing business strategy.
- Implement global planning improvement action, ensure standard process setting align with Global planning teams.
- Ensure completion of all planning and scheduling transactional process from requirements through the ERP system that product is available to customer’s request.
- Deliver working capital targets, in line with defined inventory model and service level.
- Balance the aggregate demand and supply to determine a course of action that meets production and delivery requirement.
- Generate and maintain detailed production plans for locally and remotely manufactured items consistent with meeting re-supply and customer order dates, the S&OP plan, demonstrated capability and agreed stocking policies whilst optimizing production output and cost.
- Schedule and co-ordinate supplementary out-sourcing of resale material to cover shortfalls in local manufacturing capability in line with S&OP guidelines.
- Effectively manage working capital and resources to ensure the correct inventory and manufacturing costs and maximize customer service level.
- Effectively manage planning requirements through control and execution of finish goods requirements, facility planning & utilization.
- Responsible for SMOG reduction and execution plans with cross-functional team.
- Comply with all Company rules and regulations and corporate guidelines on safety and business practices.
- Understand operations best practice compliance issues and their impact on operating effectiveness.
**Required skills and experience**:
- 3 years experience as production planner and have exposure in regional planning.
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
- Experience and good understanding in MRP (Manufacturing resource planning) and order management processes.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- Demonstrates a learning approach towards continuous improvement.

- Bachelor's Degree in the related field.
