Job Responsibilities & Duties: Management - Manage end-to-end of cafeteria management systematic which includes but not limited to administration and operations, - Responsible for manpower planning and assignments in the café operations - Champion for compliance and certifications for café operations and audit requirements (Ministry of Health, audits, and certification) - Responsible to manage café costings through standard recipes and cooking method, - Set goals for kitchen, anticipate, and resolve problems concerning kitchen affairs, anticipate trends, and enact approved profit-oriented and cost saving ideas/activities. - Maintain effective communication and working relationship with the kitchen and program staff, be responsive to staff suggestions and concerns. - Ensure all kitchen employees consistently adhere to uniform, grooming, and appearance standards. - Establish and require strict adherence to kitchen standard operating procedures, sanitation, and food handling guidelines. - Set goals for kitchen, anticipate, and resolve problems concerning all facets of the kitchen, anticipate trends, and enact approved profit-oriented and cost saving ideas/activities. Operations - Oversee day-to-day café operations - quality, hygiene, and standards of food which includes ensuring all meals are produce on time with sufficient quantities. - Control and manage raw material inventory movements and ordering of supplies based on menu planning. - Ensures kitchen has sufficient and equipment and tools for daily operation needs. - Lead and design new food and menu improvements Customer Satisfaction Compliance - Lead the Café Committee in audits, review audit results and lead improvements. - Proactively manage café feedbacks from employees Qualification Requirement: - Have more than 10 years’ experience in Kitchen / Hotel Management and possess minimum of 5 years’ experience as Executive Chef in Hotel Management. - Excellent knowledge of all sections and willingness to embrace new ideas and processes. - Good oral communication and team management skills. - Enthusiasm to develop your own skills and knowledge plus those around you. - Excellent knowledge of culinary ingredients and practices and leadership skills. - Ability to work multitasking in challenging environments, while maintaining high standards. - Food hygiene and food preparation qualifications. - Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently - Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
