Strategic Planning and Performance Monitoring
1. Develop short term, medium term and long term strategy for sales and marketing activities
2. Design work plan to support strategies and formulate respective budgets and forecast
3.Manage departmental activities in liaison with other departments to achieve corporate targets

Resource Planning and development
1. Identify, acquire, develop, allocate and mobilise required resources to support revenue generating, cost control or investment activities for sales and marketing activities
2. Plan for appropriate resource allocation and acquisition to support departmental activities
3.Develop, train, retain and manage potential talents to support company business and expansion

Control and monitoring of departmental target and activities
1. Formulate policies and design appropriate sales and marketing systems, procedures, control, database and reporting mechanism to regulate departmental activities
2. Manage plan activities and cost within approved target
3. Scrutinise and resolve issues in periodical management reports, forecasts and analysis

Contract Review

1. Conduct contract review and establish contract monitoring procedures to ensure that secured contract commitments are being fulfilled on a timely manner, in compliance to the product specification and quality standard while adhering to the contract terms, company’s policies and procedures, and other regulatory requirement.

Market Development

1. Identifies marketing opportunities by identifying consumer requirements; defining market, competitor's share, and competitor's strengths and weaknesses; forecasting projected business; establishing targeted market share.
2. Sustains rapport with key accounts by making periodic visits; exploring specific needs; anticipating new opportunities.

Promotion and Exhibitions
1. Identify forum for suitable promotion or exhibition session
2. Set promotion or exhibition concept and product range
3. Propose promotion package to the Board of Directors, for example complementary accessories, special discount on slow moving items etc.

Product Sourcing
1. Evaluate economics of product sourcing whether low range/high range, high quality high price, low quality low price etc.
2. Design Contract Agency Term, Purchase Agreements etc. to the advantage of the company
3. Acquire agency status or distributorship rights from identified principal or manufacturer and negotiate for better terms of agency

Tender and Quotation
1. Design Sales Agreements to the advantage of the Company
2. Ensure tender or quotation complies to specification and requirements and of value creation to the company

Contract Negotiation
1. Negotiate for direct purchase rather than tender
2. Negotiate current contract if there is a drastic change in price, forex, product specification etc.

ISO and TQM
Systems and Internal Control - develop appropriate systems, procedures and control

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Sales & Marketing in electrical industry: 9 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- Malay & English (preferred)
- Bahasa (preferred)
