DIVISION/DEPARTMENT : PBF/L

LOCATION : KL Office

**1. KEY OBJECTIVES**:

- Support Sabah and Sarawak Materials Management operation functions.
- Compliance with Petronas and PTTEP Malaysia Inventory Process Flow to support of all Drilling Projects, Exploration, Production Operations and Development Projects.
- Maintain detailed records of all materials disposed.
- Timely submission of all disposal proceeds to Petronas.
- Coordinate flow of information between all team leaders.
- Efficient and effective control of materials management processes and documentation

**2. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Being the focal point and ability to provide advice for all aspects of materials management for PTTEP Sabah and Sarawak and report to Head of Materials Management.
- Communicate and work in accordance with Petronas Policy as indicated in the PPGUA and PPS.
- Formulate and develop short and long-term materials management strategies and plans that will ensure cost effective operations, process improvements in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Ensure strategies are in place to minimize surplus material for effective reuse or disposal.
- Liaise and coordinate with warehouse, vendors, and end users ensuring materials availability, physical inventory checks and coordinate for document approvals.
- Liaise closely with the appointed Petronas inspector and arrange inspections at all PTTEP Operational site.
- Manage and monitor surplus materials and handle disposals of redundant materials through reporting and analysis, i.e. ensuring proceeds of sales are remitted to PETRONAS, updating L8, booking of materials, follow up with finance and PETRONAS on any outstanding matters and monitoring expiry dates, etc.
- Analyze inventory data and ability to interpret and present complex data for optimization of inventory stock holding.
- Conduct periodic inventory reviews across department and ensure effectiveness of the review through coordination, advise follow up on the action through completion.
- Consolidate, prepare inventory report, and ensure accuracy of the report and timely submission.

**3. KEY AUTHORITIES**:

- Work organization and execution within the boundaries of the project / production support activities.
- Establish, maintain and update filing systems.
- Prepare and implementation of system to work.
- Ensure safe custody and confidentiality of all records, minutes of meetings and correspondences.
- Prepare reports and records for all surplus disposals.

**4. SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- File safety, accidents, incidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences.

**6. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry. Experience in SAP especially on materials management module.
- Actively seeks to improve own competencies and skills though agreed to personal development plan, particularly in relation to the following skills.
- General knowledge of oil field practices such as well operations and production data analysis and forecasting.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in ability to present complex data into clear, concise, and actionable insights
- Field visit(s) to get more exposure and familiarization with offshore operations.
- English speaking and writing skills.
