The Chemicals, Materials & Metals Advisory practice partners with these companies to ideate, evaluate and enable decision making to shape the future portfolio of companies.

**About the Role**

Lead several complex projects (involving multiple/ senior stakeholders and involving more than 4-5 resources); ensure quality of work & deliverables in projects overseen; seen by client as business advisor in senior management situation; take ownership of selected accounts & should carry revenue quota responsibility for these accounts; take on the responsibility to mentor & coach junior consultants.

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct market research studies to gather data on market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape in the midstream fuels and lubricants sector
- Analyze market data and develop insights to support clients' strategic decisions
- Lead consulting engagements to deliver customized solutions that meet clients' needs and drive business growth
- Develop and maintain client relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction and identify opportunities to deepen engagement
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the client base
- Lead the development of proposals, presentations, and other business development materials to support client acquisition efforts
- Manage projects from inception to completion, including scoping, planning, execution, and monitoring and controlling activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality research and consulting services to clients
- Communicate research findings, insights, and recommendations to clients through reports, presentations, and other forms of documentation
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders in the industry
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices to provide clients with innovative solutions

Required Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 8-10 years of experience in market research and consulting, with a focus on the midstream fuels and lubricants sector
- In-depth knowledge of the midstream oil and gas sector such as fuels and lubricants
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and information into actionable insights
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams
- Experience in project management, including scoping, planning, execution, and monitoring and controlling activities
- Proven track record of delivering successful research and consulting engagements and driving business growth
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
