As an Accounting Manager at LINGTEC, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the company. Your responsibilities will include:
**Financial Planning and Analysis**:
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's goals and objectives.
Conduct thorough financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations to the managing director.

**Financial Reporting**:
Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
Provide regular financial reports and analyses to the managing director.

**Budgeting and Forecasting**:
Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
Monitor budget performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

**Team Leadership**:
Supervise and lead the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members.

**Internal Controls**:
Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct periodic audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls.

**Tax Compliance**:
Oversee the preparation of tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations.
Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations that may impact the company.

**Risk Management**:
Identify and assess financial risks, proposing mitigation strategies to safeguard the company's assets.
Stay informed about industry trends and changes in financial regulations that may impact the organization.

**Financial Analysis**:
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.

**Education**:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or equivalent qualification is preferred.

**Experience**:
Proven experience in accounting and financial management, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role. Substantial hands-on experience in managing accounting processes in both Singapore and the Philippines is an additional asset.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.

**Leadership Skills**:
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate the accounting team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

**Analytical Skills**:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyse financial data and provide strategic recommendations.

**Communication Skills**:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.

**Accounting System Proficiency**:
Experience with accounting software, prefer with those who know SQL and XERO.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools.
