**Job Title**:

- Assistant Manager - Sustainable Procurement and Services

**Reports To**:

- Manager, Strategic & Advisory Services (SAS)

**Role Purpose**:

- Assist Group Strategic Procurement (GSP) in achieving MAG Sustainable Procurement pathways by tracking, managing and ensuring the planned activities are implemented, executed and adopted successfully.

**Key Accountability**:

- Work closely with MAG Sustainability Office as a representative of GSP in matters related to ESG to ensure GSP ESG plans are in line with Sustainability team objectives.
- Tracking all aspects of sustainability procurement initiatives and programs to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
- Administrator for proposed GSP sustainable activities such as recycling, energy efficiency etc to ensure the activities are executed successfully.
- Conduct an analysis of sustainability initiatives and benefits associated with implementing the initiatives.
- Engage with a internal/external stakeholders to ensure that their input is reflected in the tracking and updating of sustainability procurement pathways status.
- Conduct audits and develop quality management and assurance based on sustainability procurement process and initiatives.
- Actively contribute to the enforcement of governance to ensure internal compliance with regulations best practices on sustainability procurement.
- Actively seek and develop sufficient and competent knowledge and skills to carry out responsibilities.
- Other assignment as necessary.

**Qualifications & Working Experience**:

- Bachelor in Business Management or related field with at least 2 years experience in related field (Environmental/Sustainability).
- Any additional training or certifications would be valued.
- Added advantage if has supply chain/procurement experience.

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- Able to demonstrate, manage stakeholder and interact effectively with business units.
- Skilful and expose in SAP, Ariba & Project Management.
- Ability to produce high quality results and procurement solutions on a consistent basis.
- Advanced experience of using Microsoft Office.
- Good presentation skills and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent analytical, process/project management skills.

**Key Challenges**:

- Sustainability procurement management: able to track and manage sustainability initiatives and proposing changes to the initiatives if the need arises in order to achieve successful Sustainable procurement.
- Stakeholder engagement: Able to interact effectively with stakeholders.
