About the job Associate Director in Shareholder Services



Our client established a center of excellence in Cyberjaya, Malaysia in July 2023, with approximately 1,000 employees. This initiative was undertaken with the acquisition of RBC Investor Services' European business and Malaysia center of excellence.

As a center of excellence, our client's team in Malaysia offers a wide range of services, including asset services, custody, and payments for clients in various European countries, including Belgium, Ireland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom. They operate with a global model designed to maximize efficiency across different time zones, enabling 17/5 operational capability through a "follow the sun" approach. This approach not only enhances scalability in our client's global operations but also streamlines the implementation of standardized processes.

As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for the management of the Shareholder Services teams within the department, to ensure timely delivery of departmental projects mainly (but not limited to) the transition of core operating platform, onboarding of new business and achieve Target Operating Model without services disruption, to ensure delivery of the services to internal and external clients within prescribed timeframes with a high level of quality and to ensure day to day operations are efficient, and to foster a client and risk averse mindset throughout the team.

**What will you do**?
Plan and manage delivery of key projects, including gathering of business.
People Management Driving people initiatives through the formulation of
development plans with the team managers to build talent pipeline and
Project Management Driving key projects for the department with the Business
Analyst and operation teams and acting as escalation point for key risk areas within
a project.
Developing future plans Anticipate growth and changes, devise plans to adjust and
to build a sustainable operating model in the long term
