**About the role**:
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure Contract Delivery; deliver Site Organic Growth; and manage Operations Execution. This role is accountable for the safe and effective delivery of in-field operations; DIFOT to customer; CFC and debtor compliance; day to day contract execution and variation management; owns local and site customer interface and relationships and provides key demand & market feedback to the business.

**What you will be doing**:
**Operations and People Management**
- Manage operational activities at Site/s in line with applicable SHES policies
- Demand fulfilment - store/site to customer site
- Site DIFOT & Tonnes performance Reporting (weekly)
- Conduct Site Operational Reviews (monthly)
- Conduct weekly customer demand planning
- Actively manage Port Klang Transfer Station and Sparge assets through their life cycle, including sustenance capital spend and replacement planning
- Implement plans to ensure the maximum utilisation, availability and security of business assets on site/s
- Ensure that a motivated, skilled, competent and appropriately trained team is in place to deliver business needs now and into the future
- Manage contractor and contractor workforce at Port Klang Transfer Station
- Coach, facilitate and develop the site team/s
- Ensure that succession and development plans are in place for key roles and personnel, and that performance management process are in being utilized for site/s

**Sales, Marketing and Commercial Management**
- Responsible for managing cyanide Customer Relationships
- Responsible for bid tender preparation & negotiation and contract finalisation for site
- Actively identify & conversion of Business Development opportunities for differentiation and upsell
- Ensure weekly regional customer demand forecasting is conducted
- Coordinate and attend face to face customer BRAD meetings
- Ensure customer needs identification and execution of solution
- Responsible for delivery of annual budgets (volume and margins)
- Responsible for contract management (invoicing & rise & fall implementation)
- Ensure CFC / CAPEX controls are in place and expenditure is in line with budgets
- Working with the Credit and Collection team to ensure customers debtor compliance is aligned to contracted terms

**What you will bring**:

- Tertiary qualification, Post graduate qualifications in frontline management (desirable)
- 5+ years experience in operations management within a manufacturing/technical environment
- 5+ years Leading small to medium work groups
- Possess unquestioned reputation for integrity, ethics, personal values and solid character
- Builds the trust of others both internally and externally
- Show courage to make decisions, yet is patient to make the right ones
- Model resilience and flexibility; adapts well to new circumstances and adversity
- Demonstrate a bias to working in a team oriented fashion, supporting other’s success
