Purchasing Assistant

To plan, execute, monitor deliveries and control the purchasing and consignment activities
- Communicating and executing changes ( Engineering Change Order) involving supplier.
- Perform other ad-hoc assignment as assign from time to time.
- Manage inventory level accordingly to the company policy and procedure.
- Responsible for tracking supplier delivery schedules to fulfil on time delivery (OTD) KPIs.
- Ensure the ERP/MRP system carries an accurate delivery date for all open POs.
- Selecting strategic suppliers through ERP/AVL that have the ability to meet delivery, quality and competitiveness requirements.
- To communicate with material planners and stores about material ordering and delivery plans in order to maintain a continuous supply of material or products to meet production demand and reduce unnecessary operation down time.
Requirement
- A Diploma in Business Admin or equivalent with at least 2 years of work experience as a Buyer in the manufacturing industry.
- Good interpersonal competence and attention to detail
- Highly organized and efficient in time management.
- Language : English, Chinese and Bahasa
- Proficient in Microsoft Application such as Outlook, Excel,Word and Power Point.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
