**Responsibilities**:

- Responds to inquiries of project team and administration regarding purchasing procedures for the purpose of providing information, direction and/or referral for addressing inquiry.
- Compiles reference data from a variety of sources (e.g. vendor sources, etc.) for the purpose of reviewing compliance with district policies and procedures.
- Negotiate and compare market prices and term conditions with vendors to ensure optimum cost, reliable supply, and technically & commercially to meet company objective.
- Reviews documents and data (e.g. incoming requisitions, past purchases, reconciliations, inventories, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring completeness and accuracy of purchasing process.
- Ensure products and services meet quality expectations, on time delivery, price and safety are in accordance with the customer need.
- To source, reliable and potential new suppliers were required, and aware with the procedures terms & condition & safety policy.
- Develop, build, and maintain good relationship with vendors.
- Manage & control costing for all projects including miscellaneous works, to ensure all costs are within budget and savings.
- Key in Good Received Noted (GRN) in the JDY system, & Purchase Invoice (PI) in the Auto count system.
- Assist and compile relevant unit rate (Material) to our business from time to time.
- Maintain purchasing document, files and records (e.g. Request for proposal vendor files, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the availability of documentation and compliance with established policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Participate in meetings, in-service training, workshops, etc. for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions.
- Any other job function assigned by the Superior from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Possess at least Diploma in any Engineering or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of working experience in the Purchasing/ Sourcing.
- Knowledge in spreadsheet and with experience using Inventory System.
- Possess good positive working attitude, committed, good interpersonal skills and follow up skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Able to work under tight schedule and deadlines.
- Charismatic, cheerful, professional and engaging.
- Well organized and meticulous.
- Consistently and independently solve problem and achieve objectives.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
