Manager/ Assistant Manager, Group Sustainability

**Responsibilities**:
1. Develop and execute an action plan to implement Mewah's Sustainability Policy, encompassing palm oil, coconut oil, and cocoa supply chains, as well as adhering to the Mewah Sustainability Guide.

2. Formulate and implement strategies to ensure sustainable production of palm oil, cocoa, and coconut oil, while driving responsible sourcing practices across our supply chain.

3. Foster collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive sustainability initiatives and meet stringent environmental and social standards.

4. Take the lead in implementing Group’s greenhouse gas (GHG) action plan, working towards reducing carbon emissions and ultimately achieving carbon-neutral production by 2050.

5. Monitor and track sustainability performance indicators, conducting regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with sustainability certifications and regulations.

6. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging sustainability standards to identify areas for continuous improvement and innovation.

7. Develop training programs and provide guidance to internal teams and suppliers on sustainable practices and initiatives.

8. Prepare reports and effectively communicate progress on sustainability goals to senior management, stakeholders, and external parties as required.

9. Liaise with external organizations, NGOs, and certification bodies to maintain partnerships and collaboration.

10. Prepare reports and communicate progress on sustainability goals to Senior Management and other relevant stakeholders.

**Requirements**:
1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, Science, or other relevant field.

2. Proficiency in English as the primary language for communication. Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia and Mandarin is considered an additional asset for consideration.

3. Proven experience in sustainability management, particularly within the palm oil, cocoa, or coconut oil industries.

4. Strong understanding of sustainability certifications and standards, such as RSPO, ISCC, and other relevant frameworks.

5. Comprehensive knowledge of environmental and social regulations affecting palm oil, cocoa, and coconut oil production.

6. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and drive sustainable initiatives.

7. Demonstrated ability to lead and execute sustainability action plans, monitor performance indicators, and drive continuous improvement.

8. Passion for sustainability and a deep commitment to driving positive change in the palm oil, cocoa, and coconut oil industries.

9. Flexible to travel as and when required, comfortable to work independently.

10. Able to demonstrate logical thinking, exhibits a strong work ethic, and upholds high standards of discipline.

**Salary**: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
