Responsible the financial and non-financial reporting section for Allianz Malaysia Berhad and Allianz Life Insurance Malaysia Berhad

**Key Responsibilities**
- Financial reporting - ensure timely and accurate financial reports, provide write up/commentary, analysis and interpretation of results; monitor progress and changes and keep senior leadership abreast of the Company’s financial results;
- Ensure accurate and timely filing and reports to regulatory bodies;
- Consistently analyse financial data and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner;
- Gather and analyses data (includes financial and non-financial data) related to sustainability KPIs and metrics, tracking the progress and impact of sustainability initiatives;
- Prepare sustainability reports and relevant disclosure, assisting with the communication of performance to internal and external stakeholders;
- Lead and drive the execution of sustainability projects and initiatives across various departments, ensuring they are integrated into the company’s business processes;
- Deal with auditors on audit process and sustainability assurance review which include resolving audit findings, accounting and audit issues;
- Identify and explore ways in improving efficiency and accuracy of reporting deliverables’
- Participate in finance activities to assess new accounting standards and regulatory requirements in terms of financial impact;
- Keep abreast with the relevant regulations, guidelines, and reporting requirements issued by regulatory bodies and ensure compliance;
- To be actively involved in discussion, preparation and analysis work for trial run for statutory returns particularly on MFRS 17 and MFRS 9;
- Any other ad-hoc function assigned by the Management.

**Key Requirements**
- Degree in Accountancy or other equivalent professional qualifications
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge and experience in SAP and MicroStrategy will be an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a strong sense of commitment, teamwork and good interpersonal skills
- Well versed in MFRS
- Good command of English - both written and oral
