Responsibilities: - Responsible for safety, health and environment systems, procedures and provide policies on occupational safety & health for the company. - To liaise with local authorities and government agencies on statutory/legislature compliance matters concerning to safety, health, and environment such DOSH, DOE etc. - To effectively communicate policies and procedures to all level of employees to enhance their awareness towards DOSH. - Ensure that all employees comply with the safety, health & environmental regulations of the company. - Perform routine site inspections and conduct safety meetings. - To ensure adequate and timely procurement and maintenance of personal protective equipment’s - Identify, investigate, and report on root causes for incidents & accidents. - Conduct risk assessment and facilitate training for workers with respect towards all safety and environmental issues. Requirements: - Minimum Diploma/advance certificate in Safety & Health or equivalent - Minimum 3 years working experience in relevant manufacturing industry. - Familiar and knowledge of safety regulatory requirements. - To liaise with local authorities and government agencies on statutory/legislature compliance matters concerning to safety, health, and environment such DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, etc. - Able to conduct safety audit, conduct enquiry on accident. - Review of environmental aspect and impact, able to conduct health awareness programs. - Knowledge of waste management (with scheduled waste and wastewater competency will be added advantages). - Ability multi-task & work independently under minimum supervision. - Green book certified is must.
