Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Assistant to join our team. The Procurement Assistant will be responsible for assisting with procurement activities, managing suppliers, and ensuring the smooth operation of the procurement process. Responsibilities: - Assist with the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and negotiating contracts - Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts - Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and services - Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns - Assist with inventory management and maintain appropriate stock levels - Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay updated on industry trends - Support the development and implementation of procurement strategies - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain efficiency - Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as Federal Acquisition Regulations Experience: - Proven experience in procurement management or a related field - Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and supply chain principles - Proficiency in using procurement systems and software - Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions - Excellent negotiation and communication skills - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
