**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Contract Management**:
- Pre-Contract
- Responsible to following up contracting strategy from Business Owner, reviewing the Conditions of Contract and the Technical Evaluation Report (TER)
- To ensure terms and conditions align with company policies and legal requirements.
- Post-Contract
- Point of Contact on contractual matter
- Initiation and champion Kick-Off Meeting (KOM) for new Contract
- Overseeing of contract expiry (facilitation for renewal/extension)
- Overseeing submission/return of obligated contractual performance guarantee (e.g Performance Bond, Warranty Bond, Parent Company Guarantee, Insurance)
- Preparation of contractual documentation (e.g Certificate of Completion, Making Good Defects, Defect Liability Period)
- To monitor Business Case preparation and projects status update by Business Owner.
- Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to finalize and execute contracts.
**Warranty Claims Handling**:
- Investigate, assess, and process claims in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information for warranty claims resolution.
**Risk Management**:
- Identify potential contractual risks and work proactively.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.
**Contract Compliance**:
- Monitor and enforce compliance with contractual obligations.
- Provide guidance to project teams on contract-related matters and potential risks.
**Negotiation**:
- As and when required, participate in technical negotiations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to reach favourable contractual agreements.
- Work to resolve contractual disputes through negotiation and collaboration.
**Documentation**:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts, amendments, and warranty claims.
- Prepare detailed reports on contract performance, warranty claims status, and resolution outcomes.
**Ad-Hoc**:
- Any ad-hoc job requested by superior from time to time.
**REQUIREMENT**
- Minimum Degree in Quantity Surveying / Engineering / Law or any suitable discipline from any recognized University or Institution. Related professional qualification or skills will be an added advantage.
- Minimum three (3) years related working experience.
- Ability to multitask, work within timeframes, self-starter and independent.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- High standard of written and verbal communication
- Knowledge/Expert in Microsoft Office skills
