Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Highlights: 1) Hybrid Work Environment 2) Free Parking 3) Conducive Working Environment Job Description: AP Master Data 1) Periodically review vendor and bank master data to ensure records are accurate and up-to-date. 2) Discuss payment terms for new and existing vendors with local business unit Controllers. 3) Ensure approval obtained for any deviation from standard payment terms. 4) Review vendor activity and update inactive vendors. Invoice Processing & GRIR Maintenance 1) Ensure accuracy and timely processing of vendor invoice for PO and non-PO items. Review and standardize account coding of expenses. 2) Coordinate with team lead and local business unit Controllers to reduce the occurrence of non-PO invoices. 3) Ensure GRIR clearing accounts are maintained up-to-date and identify action plans for any long outstanding items. Payment 1) Ensure all non-PO invoices are authorized before payment. 2) Attain detailed understanding of payment methods and country-specific requirements in integrated (host-to-host) or non-integrated payment portals. 3) Ensure payment cycle runs are in compliance with Company and local regulatory requirements. 4) Streamline payment run cycles and coordinate payment requests by local business units. 5) Coordinate with team lead and local business unit Controllers to reduce number of ad-hoc payment requests and other payment matters. 6) Propose authorization controls for payment run approvals in payment portal. Intercompany Reconciliation 1) Work closely with Company Corporate Accounting on month-end intercompany balance reconciliation and transactions. 2) Work with local business units to ensure compliance with Company policy on intercompany invoice recognition and payment. Job Requirements: 1) Accounting degree or equivalent 2) Ability to work EMEA shift, especially month-end 3) Shared services experience is preferred
