Located at the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Center, Traders Hotel by Shangri-La is looking for a dynamic, and multi-skilled talent in delivering our Asian hospitality.

**As Assistant Restaurant Manager I/C Sales we rely on you**:
Liaises closely with Director of Food & Beverage and Sales Team in proposing the best deal when handling leads/ inquires (pricing strategy, special requirements) in order to convert the leads or inquiries to confirmed events.
Achieve monthly outlets events sales target according company outlets sales target that set by Director of Food & Beverage.
Work closely with F&B outlets manager on events coordination and daily F&B operation whenever required.
Actively reaching out to potential corporate and prepares proposals or contracts for leads or inquiries.
Follows through from negotiation until departure for events assigned.
Liaise with clients on finalising details and gives professional advice and planning of events.
Practices up-selling at all opportunities to maximise revenue.
Ensures effective communication with clients and internal departments.
Responsible for the dissemination of groups related information to other departments.
Maintains close co-ordination with respective departments on organiser requirements and last-minute event requirements.
Be visible to organisers and clients during their event/ group dates and monitors guest satisfaction.
Regularly reviews Account postings to ensure postings are correctly done. Reviews bills with organisers regularly to eliminate adjustments needed on final invoice.
Maintains close communication with concerned outlets manager during the process.
Ensure that post-event meeting and post-event follow up such as sending Thank you letter & Post-Event Critique forms together.
Verifies total charges and layout of invoices prepared by Account Receivable and sends out to organisers.
Obtain feedback from clients and follows through with the necessary actions.
Refers leads and sends Event Profile information to relevant sister hotels or RSO (if any).
Maintains the active Event Profile Database & Group Chart.
Establishes and maintains files of major accounts and assists the Director of Sales in maintaining the Account Management System.

**Requirements**:
Graduate in Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality / Hotel Management.
Good command in writing & speaking English. Able to speak other languages will be an added advantage.
Excellent in Beverage knowledge.
With a minimum of three (3) years working experience in a similar capacity.
Outgoing and poeple oriented, cooperative, adaptable.
Good at computer literate, and flexibility in working hours.
Due to works permit restrictions, only citizens of Malaysia and Permanent Residents of Malaysia shall be considered.
