Human Resources Executive

Key Responsibilities:
- **Strategic Partnership**: Collaborate with department leaders to understand their business needs and align HR strategies to support academic and administrative goals.
- **Talent Management**: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and retain top talent. Provide guidance on workforce planning and succession planning.
- **Employee Relations**: Serve as a trusted advisor for employees and management, addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
- **Performance Management**: Facilitate the performance appraisal process, including goal setting and development plans. Provide coaching and support for managers in delivering effective feedback.
- **Organizational Development**: Assist in identifying training and development needs, coordinating professional development programs, and supporting career progression initiatives.
- **Compliance and Policy Development**: Ensure compliance with labor laws and university policies. Assist in developing and updating HR policies and procedures.
- **Data Analysis and Reporting**: Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and enhance HR practices.
- **Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion**: Promote DEI initiatives within the university community, fostering an inclusive culture that values diverse perspectives.
- **Change Management**: Support departmental changes and initiatives, providing guidance and resources to facilitate smooth transitions.
Qualifications:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on business partnership or strategic HR roles, preferably in an educational environment.
- **Skills**:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance issues.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- **Certifications**: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
Work Environment:
The HRBP will work in a dynamic, collaborative environment and may require occasional evening or weekend hours for events or projects.
**Job Type**: Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
