**Job Overview**

The **Production Team Lead **works under the purview of the Production/Assistant Production Manager.

Carry out work planning and distribution of work tasks amongst Production personnel & Audit Personnel. This includes supervising the IT Equipment Audit and Order Preparation process to ensure work tasks are executed well by the team under supervision.

The Team Leads also works with the Production/Assistant Manager to execute continuous improvement projects that will drive better resource management, productivity and quality.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Order Processing**
- Requires constant coordination and close collaboration with Sales, Mat Planning and Procurement to ensure ALL items needed for processing are in place before order processing starts.
- Responsible for job distribution by individual (Planning) and to ensure each tech is clear of order requirements and expectations.
- Tracking productivity output vs planned target for technicians.
- Review and escalate any ad hoc technical issues that cannot be solved at Order Processing stage.
- Sample checking of units to ensure all in good order to facilitate AQL.
- Checks all documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Monitors units/ parts request, utilization and return and verify against inventory aging to ensure grading/ comments correctly updated.
- Conducts daily briefings to ensure the team are aware of their work priorities.
- Ensures Service Level Turnaround time is met for orders.
- Leads troubleshooting and problem resolution activities.
- Main liaison for branch operations where IT equipment audits and small volume orders are prepared.
- Manages outsourced partner arrangements to perform off-site IT equipment audits and ensures all reports are completed and equipment is checked, inventoried and accounted for upon receipt.
- Checks administrative work accuracy - Audit/Order Report compilation and submission.
- Creates and maintains standard working instruction and procedures. (SOI & SOP)
- Ensures all SOIs and SOPs are adhered to.
- Ensures audit and order quality meets QC guidelines/processes/standards.
- Performs IPC (in process checks) on audits and orders up to the packing stage.
- Conducts a weekly quality issue review with the team to root cause and improve quality.
- Ensures resource utilization is optimized across teams by multi-skilling team members.
- Works with the relevant departments to implement the usage of tools to enhance work processes and is responsible for the maintenance and care of these assets.
- Liaises and represents the department where collaboration is required between departments, suppliers, clients.
- Ensures that health and safety guidelines are followed.
- Ensures upkeep, cleanliness and organization of the work floor. (5s)
- Reviews the work performance of the team with the Production/Assistant Production Manager.

**2.** **Audit**
- Responsible for job distribution by individual (Planning).
- Tracking productivity output vs planned target of techs.
- Verifies audit report EVF, GCO and inventory aging to ensure unit specs, grading/ comments are correctly updated.
- Submits report to ITAD and billing team.

**3. Customer Service**
- Follows up to ensure timely and appropriate actions are taken on customers' requests and responds to all complaints, and queries received.
- Maintains and develops inter departmental relationships.
- Performs service recovery for customer related issues

**Qualifications**
- Min: Diploma in IT/Computer Science
- Comptia A + Certification

**Experience**
- Minimum of 5 years’ technical experience in the IT Hardware field. PC/Network/Server support and management experience is needed.
- Well versed in IT Hardware troubleshooting and knowledge with a system builder or related industry will be an added advantage.
- Has led and managed a team of technical personnel
- E&E certification/IT hardware repair experience will carry an added advantage.

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
