Take responsibility for the overall operational and functional aspects of the Sub Contract Department.

**Management of Sub-Contract Packages**:
Concurrently manage multiple sub-contract packages, ensuring effective coordination and timely execution.

**Leadership and Coordination**:
Lead the Contracts team in coordinating and liaising with project teams, consultants, sub-contractors, and suppliers.

Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among different stakeholders involved in the projects.

**Cost Comparison, Negotiation, and Award**:
Oversee and advise on the cost comparison, negotiation, and award of subcontract packages.

Ensure that sub-contracts are awarded based on fair and competitive terms.

**Clarification of Sub-Contract Packages**:
Clarify all items related to each sub-contract package, ensuring a clear understanding of the scope and requirements.

**Procurement and Coordination**:
Lead the sourcing and procurement of all items required by the site.

Coordinate with the procurement department and site team to issue purchase orders, manage material deliveries, invoices, delivery orders, etc.

**Progress Claims, Variation Orders, and Final Accounts**:
Lead and oversee the submission of Sub-Contractor's monthly progress claims, variation orders, and final accounts for the assigned project.

**Commercial Terms and Conditions**:
Plan and review commercial terms and conditions for sub-contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

**Internal Training**:
Provide internal training for the department, ensuring that team members are well-equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.

**Ad-hoc Duties**:
Undertake any other duty and responsibility assigned by the company from time to time, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
- At least 8 to 10 years experience in Construction industry
- Able work independently and guide the project team to achieve the target / goal Good negotiation skills, strong analytical skill, knowledgeable in technical / cost estimates and construction contracts
- Willing to relocate and outstation language: Mandarin, English, Bahasa

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: RM7,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
