**About the Department**:
The **Technology and Operations **function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. We work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Singapore and overseas branches.

**Scope of the Role**:

- SCOPE OF THE ROLE
- The technical SME (Server) will responsible for digital banking Level 3 production service maintenance and own the delivery of server side related technical changes required for service protection.
- Other responsibilities include:
- Be responsible for digital banking Level 3 production service maintenance and own the delivery of technical changes required for service protection on UOB Digital Banking solution.
- Follow through to ensure incidents and problems are resolved according to SLA.

**Job Requirements**:

- SKILLS REQUIRED- Strong technical experience in server side frameworks: Core-Java, Apache Camel, Maven, Spring framework, Spring Boot, Multi-threading, JDBC, JMS, Hibernate, JPA, Json, Mockito, Swagger, OCP
- Proficient in detailed defect analysis (Log, performance, etc), UNIX (shell scripting).
- Solid understanding of resiliency and redundancy architecture design.
- Strong technical and organization skills to understand production incident and manage the team to deliver fixes and improvement within SLA.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to correlate events across multiple systems to proactively review and resolve deep underlying issues
- Experience in supporting mission critical systems in banking & financial domain with regional systems is preferred including Escalation & Stakeholder management.
- Capable in prompt incident and problem management, provide short term workaround and long-term solutions wherever is applicable, in order to maintain system maximum uptime and availability.
- Self-Motivated, and able to manage work plan with sense of urgency under multiple deadlines and successfully organize and complete tasks with mínimal supervision
- Strong in continual improvement initiatives mind-set for driving efficiencies through automation.
- Strong organization skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- PREFERRED EXPERIENCE- Experience in working with/ in agile/ scrum teams
- Experience with object-oriented design principles and SOLID development practices
- Experience with a variety of source control and development tools
- Experience in DevOps
- Experience in developing micro services and consuming RESTful web services.
- Skilled in database technologies such as Oracle, MariaDB
- Experience in writing unit testing using various testing frameworks
- Performing design and code review for other team members
- Strong knowledge on design principles and design patterns.

**Preferred Experience**:

- Experience with object-oriented design principles and SOLID development practices
- Experience with a variety of source control and development tools
- Experience in DevOps

**EDUCATION**
- Bachelor’s degree/University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
