Assistant Facilities Manager

Job Summary
- To lead, plan and develop departmental goals and objectives for Facilities Department
- Responsible in all aspects of building maintenance & renovation including C&S, electrical, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC), M&E infrastructure, security and facilities management in a cost efficient & effective manner in line with approved SOPs, regulatory and audit requirements.
- Responsible for monitor and track competencies of subordinates and outsource services.
- Responsible for operation and maintenance of all M&E systems.
- To ensure routine Inspection/handling is carried out for air-cond, AHU, PABX, Generator; fire system equipment; lighting facility and electrical switchboard.
- Conduct correction service and repair or restore when and where necessary
- To ensure that all related safety regulations are adhered to as stipulated by the relevant authorities.
- Attend to authority inspections i.e TNB, Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga).
- Ensure maintenance team attends to all power and equipment failure/ short trip and rectify promptly.
- Perform repair and maintenance works and schedule preventive maintenance tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness of plant rooms and workshop facility.
Job requirements
- Minimum 5 years experiences in related field.
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering with relevant experience
- Possess Chargeman BO/11KV certificate issued by Suruhanjaya Tenaga
