An exciting VP, Brand & Marketing position is available at a progressive and established consumer goods company in Petaling Jaya This role drives the organization’s business strategies by setting direction for the organization’s branding and marketing efforts, campaigns, programs and communication plans. He/she is also responsible for market trends, target buyer and seller landscapes, advancing public relations for the organization, formulating data-driven commercial insights and directing budget forecasting activities.
Strategic and business-minded, he/she operates in a rapidly transforming business environment and functions through his understanding of consumers’ preferences, market trends and industry landscape to promote the organization and optimize its market share.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Establish marketing objectives and lead branding strategies to enhance brand reputation based on current brand positions and market awareness
- Drive the development of brand guidelines according to overall brand image and best practices
- Drive collaboration with business functions to identify new products and develop marketing campaigns
- Guide the development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) based on marketing strategies
- Drive profiling of target profiles and personalized marketing and/or engagement strategies
- Establish and drive the scope and goals of marketing campaigns, online and offline platforms
- Develop internal and external communication strategies, guidelines and parameters
- Oversee analytics as a key competence throughout the organization and provide ongoing consultative services
- Formulate and direct public relations strategies and activities as well as develop media relationships
- Synthesize findings from industry landscape, digital marketing technologies and competitor product offerings to inform marketing strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Lead development of omnichannel initiatives and facilitate collaboration with other functional tracks to obtain inputs
**Key Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or another industry-related field is required; or at least 10 years of industry-related experience with three years in an upper management role
- Above 5 years of marketing/brand management experience in either Pharmacy, Healthcare or FMCG
- Sensitive to marketing trends and developments within the healthcare industry
- Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- To achieve outstanding growth levels, demonstrate a "Can-Do" attitude and leadership

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
**Experience**:
- industry-related: 10 years (preferred)
- an upper management role: 3 years (preferred)
