Assistant Manager, Portal Administrator

Responsible to manage the Learning system used for e-learning in IMU
- Train faculty/staff on best used Learning Management System
- Manage the equipment i.e. notebooks and studio usage un providing the facilities to faculty in developing their materials
- Manage resources on completing the task given
- Manages daily operations of the LMS(MOODLE and MAHARA) in collaboration with other team member
- Lead in further deployment of LMS rollout to the businesses.
- Ensures that education and training programs are aligned with other Learning & Organizational Development initiatives
- Liaise with lecturers to assist and guide them in developing e-learning content.
- To provide basic training to lecturers on e-learning.
- To provide e-learning support in all IMU Campuses when necessary or requested.
- Provide learning management system (LMS) training and support to faculty and students.
- Research and resolve LMS functionality issues.
- Collaborate with peers at other institutions to determine and facilitate best practices.
- Design and maintain official, accurate, and up-to-date Web and Internet presence.
Job Requirements
- Masters (technology, education, mechanical, multimedia)
- 1-2 years' experience in developing LMS (preferably interactive multimedia content)
- 3-5 years' experience in developing courses in LMS (Moodle, WebCT, Blackboard)
- Experience in content management systems, e-learning development tools/authorware and basic HTML/script coding skills preferred Photoshop
- Intermediate Graphic and Multimedia Design
**Salary**: RM5,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
