Market Research Manager

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Develop and execute market research projects to gather insights on customer preferences, market trends, and competitive landscapes. This includes defining objectives, selecting research methodologies (quantitative and qualitative), and managing timelines and budgets.
- Analyze collected data using statistical software and interpret the results to identify significant patterns and insights. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations that summarize research findings, including actionable recommendations for business strategy, product development, and marketing initiatives.
- Oversee the work of research analysts or external research firms, ensuring high-quality data collection and analysis. Provide guidance and feedback, and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Work closely with marketing, product development, sales, and executive leadership teams to understand their information needs and to provide insights that inform decision-making and strategy development.
- Keep abreast of industry changes and forecast future market trends. Utilize insights to advise on potential opportunities for new products or services and strategies for market penetration or expansion.
- Select and manage relationships with external vendors or research firms. Communicate findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders across the organization.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, statistics, sociology, psychology, or a related field is typically required. A master’s degree or an MBA can be advantageous.
- 1 yr + experience in market research, data analysis, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing research projects and teams.
- Strong ability in statistical analysis and experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS). Ability to interpret complex data and turn it into actionable insights.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for presenting research findings and making strategic recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to think strategically and understand the broader business implications of research findings.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with CRM software, database management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
