Identify and develop potential clients in specified offline segments and incorporate into Sales Pipelines
- Acquire thorough knowledge of respective accounts and their hospitality needs
- Promote all the hotel’s products and services
- Keep accurate records and profiles of contacts and accounts
- Conduct regular planned sales visitations to respective accounts
- Understand client requirements and ensure that the products and services offered correspond effectively to their request
- Provide after-sales service and ensure that all client feedback is taken seriously and escalated to relevant top management if necessary
- Meet and exceed given Top-line Revenue objectives
- Achieve set revenue targets for respective segments
- Ensure cost effective sales activities are practices at all times
- Work to increasing hotel profitability with higher yielding rates and lower cost of sales
- Uphold and practice IHG values in every aspect of carrying out duties
- Ensure clear communications and execution of sales & catering operations
- Work in collaboration with all relevant departments
- Any other duties and responsibilities as and when directed by the General Manager as deemed necessary, relevant and related in the course of work.
- Communicating and coordinating with various departments in the hotel on client requirements
- Handling client objections and negotiations
- Handling client feedback and recovery
- Managing hotel team challenges when it effects the customer experience
