Sales Strategy Specialist Growth and Value-based

Intel SMG is in transformation in IDM 2.0 world reinvigorating GTM model - Core, Growth, Specialty. Value-Based Selling (VBS) is a GTM motion where a company differentiates itself based on how its total solution (HW, SW, services, partners) creates long-term value for specific customer use cases. Value-based Selling gives us the right to sell to higher-level business buyers, creates long-term, sticker relationships with customers and partners, helps us move from a 'trusted advisor' to a 'trusted partner', and provides better feedback loop for product development.
APJ SMG has been at the forefront of Value-Based Selling pilot - put plans, identified accounts, allocated resources, and achieved early customer wins. These growth opportunities require new strategy and operations capabilities. You will be joining APJ Go To Market Ops team who have been partnering across APJ and SMG to stand up new sales motions and business models, and acting as point of contact in APJ to assess, qualify, structure and manage VBS deals, giving you the opportunity to build out knowledge, partner across organization and influence the growth of business.
Responsibilities of this role include but not be limited to:
- Partner with Sale to discover value-base selling activities
- Conduct research of segment, industry, customer and partners
- Assess complex deals, and size value to both Intel and customers/partners
- Evaluate value chain and ecosystem, articulate market scalability and impact
- Strategize and build the deals/bids, align with stakeholders
- Build out TCO, pricing models triangulating customer generated value, competitive information and financials
- Support negotiation and operationalization
- Manage and track the execution deploying efficient and automated solution
- Orchestrate management report out and decision process
- Contribute to the cumulative knowledge base on software, service and value based businesses
- The willingness to operate in an ambiguous environment and a passion/willingness to lean in and help the business grow
- Willingness to build partnerships at multiple levels within the organization
- High tolerance of ambiguity and bias for action independently
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Demonstrated business and strategic acumen with an understanding of market drivers and trends
- An analytical mindset and the ability to develop models that enable the BUs short and long term goals
- Experience with creating and managing complex deals e.g. Software/SaaS/Services will be a plus
**Qualifications**:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Science, or Finance or related field and 7+ years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with software, service company
- 2+ years of experience working with customers, pricing, or customer operations

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. **In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.**
