About the client
Our client is a Premier Cloud Partner, expanding its services in ASEAN countries, with their HQ in India and ASEAN Business in Malaysia, Philippines and Singapore.
About the role
They are seeking a high-performing Sales Manager to join their Malaysia team to drive customer acquisitions and revenue growth targets.
You will primarily be responsible for expanding company's business in Malaysia through growth development of assigned account footprint and new account acquisitions.
You will be responsible for driving top line revenue growth and overall market adoption of the AWS Migration solutions, by establishing and growing business and technical relationships. Your role will include driving C-level and field relationships with your customer and work in close collaboration with Malaysian Team.
You will partner closely with company's cross-functional teams, vendors, and SI partners to provide customers a first-class sales service experience, serving as the trusted anchor for customers throughout the entire sales cycle to post-closure.
Close coordination with respective company and partner teams (including AWS).
Need-based meetings (online and local face-to-face) with clients, company and its partner teams.
Act as the single point of contact for assigned accounts and shall represent the brand.
Develop and maintain a consistent and healthy sales pipeline, driving deal closures and company sales growth.

**Responsibilities**:
Execute and implement company's direct sales activities and prospects that expands company's customer base and ensures its strong presence in Malaysia.
Educate clients on the company's offerings and identify possible scopes of solutioning
Proper qualification of leads and able to provide accurate report on opportunities.
Conduct market research into accounts, identify key players and generate interest.
Strong presence and confidence/experienced in generating sales opportunities.
Preparing quotations and responding to proposals with the support of technical solutioning teams
Coordinate with company's Pre-Sales teams to get solution details and budgets for respective work-scopes
Manage contract negotiations involving legal, marketing and business terms Maintain warm relationships with assigned accounts and new account acquisition.
Able to sell and upsell company's solutions and value proposition to both new and existing customers.
Acquire understanding of market segmentation, develop, and execute Go-To-Market strategy for assigned accounts.
Collaborate between different functional teams and serve as the point of contact for customers and vendors.
Always maintain good customer and partner relationships.
Meet and exceed quarterly sales goals by managing individual sales activity.
Accurately track and generate timely sales report for presentation to management.
Key Skills
Local Citizen / PR holder / Resident Pass holder ONLY (Malaysia)
Can fluently communicate in local language.
Bachelors degree/diploma/equivalent with 5+ years of experience in driving direct sales activities for customers in the Malaysian region
Experience in positioning and Selling IT services, preferably Migration Services on AWS.
Possess excellent interpersonal skills with strong presentation abilities.
Experience in dealing with customers at all levels, including C-levels.
Good coordination skills in multi-cultural environment, who is adaptable and able to work in a team environment and independently.
Self-motivated and driven to achieve goals.
Possess strong understanding of IT industry ecosystem.
Strong verbal and written communications skills are essential.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills is essential.
Ability to thrive in a fast-pace and competitive environment.
