**Job Summary**:
The Business Executive in a record label is responsible for overseeing the financial and business operations of the company. This role involves strategic planning, financial management, contract negotiation, and ensuring the overall success and profitability of the record label.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Financial Management:

- Develop and manage the budget for the record label.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Implement cost-control measures to optimize profitability.

2. Contract Negotiation:

- Negotiate and secure jobs with clients to secure contracts.
- Ensure that contractual agreements align with the overall business strategy and financial goals.

3. Strategic Planning:

- Work closely with senior management to develop and implement business strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities and revenue streams within the music industry.

4. Business Development:

- Explore and establish partnerships with other entities in the music industry.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for expansion and growth.
- Conduct market research and strategies, sales, and customer service activities to ensure company objectives and targets are met.
- Responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our artists and music repertoire (new and older tracks).

5. Legal Compliance:

- Ensure the record label operates in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Work with legal professionals to address any legal issues that may arise.

7. Teamwork:

- Foster a collaborative and productive working environment.

**Qualifications**:
1. Education:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Music Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.

2. Experience:

- Proven experience in business management within the music or entertainment industry.
- Prior experience in negotiating contracts and managing financial operations.

3. Skills:

- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and make sound business decisions.

4. Industry Knowledge:

- In-depth knowledge of the music industry, including current trends and business dynamics.

5. Leadership:

- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Proven track record of successful business development.

6. Adaptability:

- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced industry.
- Flexibility to handle various aspects of business operations.

**Salary**: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
