Safety Officer

Monitoring, inspections, meetings and reviews of Safety Health and Environmental (SHE) activities.
- Plan, manage and lead on a few teams which include security, hostel, upkeep and maintainance team.
- Require to liaise with sub-contractors, foreign workers and etc.to ensure work safety on site/factory.
- Carry out daily factory inspections and take necessary action to ensure compliance such as with DOSH AC and maintain ethical and positive networking with relevant government bodies such as DOSH, DOE, BOMBA, MPSP, KPDNHEP
- Conduct weekly Toolbox Meeting
- Scheduling, Conduct and Facilitate training for employees in Safe Work practices for newly hired or refresher training sessions
- Prepares any written reports of findings and recommendations for corrective or preventative measures where indicated and follows up to ensure measures have been abated.
- Ensure statutory licenses, permits, variances have been obtained from appropriate governmental agencies. Ensure project maintain records required by HSE laws and procedures.
- Assist in the development, annual reviews and upgrading of existing health and safety programs.
- Monitoring, inspections, meetings and reviews of Jabatan Alam Sekitar and related activities (such as schedule waste)
- To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time.

**Requirement**:

- Minimum 4 years in manufacturing industry.
- Leadership skill, firm and Physically fit and outgoing (require to stand/walk around production factory)
- Able to work well with production leaders and foreign workers
- A registered Safety Officer with DOSH **(Green Book Holder**:

- JKKP/ DOSH Malaysia**)**.
- Ability to multi-tasking, prioritise, manage time efficiently and WELL ORGANISED.

Pay: RM2,318.89 - RM4,000.00 per month

Supplemental pay types:

- Yearly bonus

**Education**:

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- safety officer: 4 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (preferred)
