**The Role**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our dynamic procurement team. The incumbent will play a key role in optimizing our supply chain by identifying and qualifying new suppliers, negotiating competitive contracts, and managing existing supplier relationships. You will leverage your market research, negotiation skills, and analytical abilities to secure the best possible value for our company, contributing to cost savings and operational efficiency.- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify and qualify potential suppliers based on quality, reliability, pricing, and delivery capabilities.
- Source new suppliers while fostering and maintaining long-lasting relationships with current vendors.
- Execute Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to a diverse pool of vendors/potential supplier, ensuring clear communication of requirements and specifications.
- Analyze quotations based on a multi-criteria approach, considering factors like pricing, quality, lead time, and supplier capabilities.
- Conduct supplier audits and site visits to evaluate facilities, assess risks, and ensure compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with Purchasing team to negotiate advantageous pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value for the company.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including technical and purchasing teams to select the most suitable suppliers based on a comprehensive analysis and comparison, considering both technical and commercial factors.
- Work closely with the purchasing team to develop effective sourcing strategies aligned with departmental goals and market trends.
- Develop and propose solutions to improve company spending, outsourcing practices, contingency plans and alternative sourcing strategies to mitigate risks and ensure continuity of supply.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of supplier information, contracts, and procurement activities.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a sourcing or procurement role.
- Strong understanding of sourcing methodologies and best practices.
- Proven negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and contracts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook for creating reports, presentations, and managing data.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills to assess supplier options and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with suppliers and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
