**Job Purpose**:
We are searching for a **Network Security Specialist** to join our growing Secure Connectivity team, part of Cyber Technology. This position will be located in our Malaysia office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Engineer and support firewall deployment and solutions to protect network boundaries and control traffic.
- Design, implement and maintain ZTNA frameworks to enhance the security posture of our network.
- Develop, improve and enforce policy orchestration processes to streamline security operations.
- Support and develop orchestration technologies for ACL process automation.
- Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into all aspects of the network infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies to continually improve our security strategies.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on network security best practices and policies.

**Qualifications/Education - Minimum Requirements**:

- Typically has 6+ years relevant experience in IT. Almost 4 years in network security field.
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

**Critical Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of firewalls, ZTNA, and policy orchestration.
- Familiarity with network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Experience with security incident response and mitigation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong commitment to teamwork.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated and disciplined, with excellent time management skills
- Experience with ticketing and case management solutions

**Additional Knowledge & Skills**:

- Relevant security certifications (CISSP, CCNP Security, GIAC)
- Automation and orchestration knowledge is a plus
- Web Application Firewall knowledge is a plus
- ** Experience with implementing IT security configuration standards**

**Working Conditions**:

- Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
- On-call availability required as necessary.
- Some travel required.
