**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
Food Preparation and Cooking:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to Sid's Pub's recipes and standards.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to the highest quality.
Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation.
- Communicate effectively with the General Manager and other team members.
- Train and develop the kitchen staff.
Kitchen Management:
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.
- Ensure all food storage and preparation areas comply with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed.
Quality Control:
- Monitor portion control and waste management.
- Ensure consistency in taste, appearance, and quality of all dishes.
- Regularly check the freshness and quality of ingredients.
Creativity and Menu Development:
- Contribute to menu planning and development.
- Suggest new dishes or improvements to existing recipes.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a reputable establishment.
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for food and hospitality.
