**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for overall supervision of the Section
- Plan, organise and supervise work performed by team members
- Reports to the Assistant Vice President of Finance Department
- Establishment of appropriate controls and checks on documents and processes to ensure they are complete, accurate, reliable and comply with company policies
- Ensure the procedures laid down by management is clearly understood and correctly applied and adhered to.
- Review prevailing process and procedures to ensure compliance with policies and identify areas for improvements
- Identify problem areas requiring attention and implement procedures to overcome
- Assist operations department in financial related reports (ad-hoc or periodical).
- Provides on the job training and guidance to team members
- Ensure that internal and external reporting requires are met on timely manner
- Verify manual payment requisitions submitted by operations and ensure supporting documents are adequate, proper approval obtained and relevant policies adhered to.

**Requirements**:

- A good degree in Accounting or related professional qualifications.
- Must be a member of professional body (E.g. MIA, ICAEW, ACCA, MACPA, CPA, ICAA).
- Minimum 6 years accounting experience and at least 1 year experience at managerial level.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Meticulous, highly organized and strong leadership qualities.
- Good interpersonal, analytical and presentation skills.
- Experience in the industry is an added advantage
