Sustainability Manager

**A. Job Purpose**
The Sustainability Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing sustainability strategies and programs that align with our company's values and objectives. This role involves collaborating with various departments to identify opportunities for improvement, engaging internal and external stakeholders, and measuring and reporting on our progress towards sustainability goals.
**B.** **Key Accountabilities**
1. Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies and action plans to support our vision to be a Sustainable Energy Company by Embracing Strong Corporate Governance, Nurturing and Cultivating the Growth of our People and Preserving the Environment.
2. Periodically Conduct sustainability assessments and audits to identify opportunities for improvement and track progress.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability framework into all aspects of PEB’s operations
4. Research and stay up-to-date on industry best practices, regulations, and emerging trends in sustainability, and recommend innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement.
5. Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, and community partners, to build awareness and support for sustainability initiatives.
6. Manage sustainability reporting and communications, including preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for Leadership Team, stakeholders, and external organisations/ clients
7. Lead employee training and education programs to promote sustainability awareness and encourage participation in sustainability initiatives.
8. Cultivate partnerships and collaborate with external organisations, industry groups, and government agencies to advance sustainability goals and initiatives.
9. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability programs, using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure progress and identify areas for improvement.
10. To write the yearly Sustainability report and engage third party Assessment team for assurance purpose.
**C. Qualification**
1. Bachelor's degree in any Technical discipline environmental science, sustainability, business administration, or a related field
2.Strong understanding of sustainability issues, sustainability principles, and best practices.
3.Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
4. Certified Sustainability Professional (CSP),or LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), or Sustainability Reporter or Assurer or other relevant certifications are a plus.
**D. Working Experience**
1. Minimum of 10 years of experience in sustainability management, environmental consulting, corporate social responsibility, or related roles.
2. A strong understanding of the oil and gas industry, including its operations, environmental impacts, regulatory requirements, and sustainability challenges.
3.Possess expertise in sustainability principles, frameworks, and methodologies, as well as practical experience in implementing sustainability programs and initiatives.
4.Knowledge of environmental regulations, permits, and reporting requirements applicable to the oil and gas industry is essential for ensuring compliance and managing environmental risks.
5. Must be adept at analysing data, identifying trends, and solving complex problems related to sustainability performance, resource management, and risk mitigation.
6. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritise, and execute multiple initiatives simultaneously.
7.Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
8. Having experience as a Sustainability reporter (at least once) for any organization
