**About the Department**:
The **Wholesale Bank** function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Check and authorise requests by Developers for withdrawal of monies from H D A or Project account. All withdrawal must comply with the Housing Development Act.
- Check and authorise instruction to Loan Operations on the progressive drawdown of Bridging Loan facilities after complying with all drawdown Terms and Conditions. To also ensure site visit has been conducted with a site visit report and is still under validity period of 3 (three) months before allowing drawdown of Bridging Loan.
- Check and authorise Standard Instruction Memo to Loan Operations on instalment repayment/principal prepayments for Bridging Loan.
- Check and authorise Standard Instruction Memo to Loan Operations and Branch Operations for change in Loan Terms & Conditions, FD Upliftment/Placement etc.
- Check and authorise placement or removal of earmark on current account balances.
- Check and authorise closure of HDA or project account - ensure compliance with conditions as per Housing Development Act.
- Prepare monthly dashboard for management reporting.
- Close collaboration with business units, back office and developers to support exceptional scenarios or new initiatives/projects.
- Manage resources proactively for workload balancing to ensure tasks completed within SLA without compromising on quality.
- Update and brief team members on new developments affecting their work. Actively engage with team members to brainstorm on process improvement and risk reduction measures. Identify ways to improve productivity and capacity to absorb higher volume and new work functions.
- Conduct on the job training/coaching. Mentor new and junior staff.
- Appraise staff to identify the skill gaps and provide guidance. Identify training needs of the team member and arrange for suitable training.
- Ensure satisfactory audit and compliance review

**Job Requirements**:

- Recognised degree and with good command in English
- At least 6-8 years of relevant experience within FI industry and preferably comes with leadership experience
- Resourceful and meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven with strong interpersonal skills
