Puchong, Malaysia Sigma Water Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. Full time

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- In collaboration and alignment with Corporate Engineering, Project Management and Operations:_
- Preparation & maintenance of detailed project integrated schedules for live projects.
- Running various scenarios for carrying out the works.
- Perform and monitor site work progress and liaise with contractors accordingly
- Preparation of project schedules for tendering.
- Preparation of S-curves and updated schedules for incorporation in Client Monthly Reports.
- Preparation of typical floor sequence diagrams, floor to floor and area to area activity diagrams
- Development of one month look ahead schedules as a critical path method (CPM) network, and to be presented in either bar chart or time-scaled network diagram format
- Preparation of information for incorporation into internal reporting.
- Using the critical path method scheduling by precedence diagramming method (PDM)
- Advising Project Manager/Project Construction Manager of any deviation from schedule
- Working with Project Management Team in coming up with recovery measures when deviating from schedule (preparation of Gap Analysis - analysis to identify, clarify and recommend feasible solution for problem areas)..
- Running various scenarios during the works - eg. to optimize schedule to price Variations.
- Liaising with other members of the Project Management Team - either to get their input to update schedule or providing schedule information to allow others to carry out their job.
- Preparation of as-built documentation.
- Preparation of standard template schedules for various activities.
- Preparation and updating a suite of norms for various types of work.
- Assistance with department manpower planning (histograms, etc).

**Skill/ Experience/ Education Required**:

- Minimum Degree in any engineering discipline from recognized institutions, either locally or overseas.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in constructions projects.
- Familiar with the water industry.
- Self-starter with strong analytical ability and ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project and Primavera; how to develop, update and maintain schedules over the life of a project is a must.
- Experience with Asta PowerProject, Open Plan or other planning systems would be beneficial.
- Attention to detail and an ability to identify trends in cost and schedule information.
- Understanding how multi-discipline engineering projects are executed, the interfaces between disciplines, and work breakdown structures (WBS).

**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
