**RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDES BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with engineers, design consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and owner’s representatives to ensure alignment with client goals and expectations from initiation to completion of the project.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the contract documents (including Company’s contract, plans, specifications, and applicable codes).
- Lead, supervise and develop Company MEP staff, including providing input on or completing performance appraisals.
- Oversee daily activities of subordinates, General Contractor and Subcontractor.
- Manage MEP procurement, project budgets, quality, safety, engineering, coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and close-out processes.
- Supervise, coach and mentor MEP Engineers.
- Lead the overall turnover process including start-up, testing, commissioning, and closeout.
- Develop the Employer’s Requirements related to MEP systems
- Provide leadership and oversight on all municipal and agency documentation required for temporary certificates of information and system operation.
- Liaise and communicate with the Client representative on any MEP related items
- Lead the MEP clash coordination and BIM efforts
- Identify any potential risks related to MEP works, material delivery, installation methods, etc.
- Provide guidance and leadership on MEP related matters such as industry best practices, alternative solutions, etc.
- Identify design features that command cost premiums and recommend alternatives that deliver comparable or improved function

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 10 years experience with progressively more responsible exposure to design, cost, sequence, logistics and field installations of Mechanical and Electrical systems or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to present technical material.
- Strong computer skills and a familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
- Knowledge of project management and scheduling software desirable.
- Technical expertise and understanding of all mechanical and electrical systems that support the broad array of project types in our portfolio and how they interrelate with each other.
- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Familiar with the ASHRAE guidelines, NFPA, international code and standards
- Exposure in design consultancy will be an added value
- Require working experience in data center market segment.

**MEP MANAGER (Semiconductor/Data Centre)**

The MEP Manager reports to the Project Manager. The MEP Manager oversees, direct, manage and assess information related to MEP systems, i.e., HVAC, Fire Protection, Electrical (HV, LV, ELV), IT, Telco, Security, Life Safety, etc.

**Salary**: RM9,000.00 - RM13,000.00 per month
