Corporate Immigration Specialist

This role is part of Fragomen's centralized operations hub in Kuala Lumpur, providing case support to the Australian practice on inbound corporate immigration matters.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and collate accurate visa applications for review before submission to clients;
  • Follow defined processes to complete tasks within prescribed timelines and protocols;
  • Generate clear, well-organized written work product with minimal edits, including case-related documents and internal emails;
  • Record, track, and monitor post-lodgment requests from Immigration;
  • Instruct and coordinate with Fragomen's internal operations support team on case processing;
  • Ensure clear communications with stakeholders throughout the process;
  • Respond to client inquiries in a timely manner and develop positive relationships;
  • Update case information in the firm's management system regarding case flow, delays, and billing;
  • Demonstrate understanding of specific visa/work permit processes and provide up-to-date information from government agencies;
  • Identify potential issues causing delays or application denials and raise them promptly;
  • Help improve and define processes, and support implementation of new/revised processes.

  • Displays versatility and agility in adjusting to changes in policy, client expectations, and case volumes;
  • Shows professionalism and a positive learning attitude;
  • Has strong analytical and judgment skills;
  • A degree qualified in any discipline;
  • Two years' experience in a professional setting with structured workflows and processes;
  • Previous experience in immigration, visa processing, or case management is an advantage;
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English, with good proficiency in a secondary language optional.
