Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Understand and comply with all related operating processes, maintaining high standards of efficiency and productivity.
  • Customer Focus: Coordinate and liaise with customers/transporters on day-to-day issues, meeting their shipment delivery/collection requirements through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Data Management: Prepare accurate data collection and submit reports to the Executive & customer, facilitating informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure all incoming (including exchange and returns) and outgoing shipments are completed in a timely and orderly manner, minimizing disruptions and optimizing inventory levels.
  • Exception Handling: Coordinate with customers on urgent/exception pulls, working closely with the operation team to deliver goods on time and exceed customer expectations.
  • Documentation: Ensure all shipment documentation is accurate and submitted timely, adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Process Improvement: Perform initiatives to improve processes and implementation, driving operational excellence and reducing costs.
  • Reporting: Report to the Executive on receiving non-conformances, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of corrective actions.
  • Support and Coverage: Perform day-to-day roles of the Executive during their absence, providing seamless coverage and supporting the team's success.
Requirements
  • Education: Minimum SPM Equivalent or Diploma holder.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in warehouse operations/customer service.
  • Skills: Good in Warehouse Management System and experience with handling electronic devices such as RF scanners, Ring Scanners; Good in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Access, VBA).
  • Problem-Solving: Good problem-solving skills and experience in resolving problems creatively.
  • Communication: Able to communicate effectively with internal/external customers.
  • Traits: Positive mindset, team player, and high desire for learning; Detail-oriented, analytical, and innovative; Adaptable to a fast-moving work environment.
  • Overtime: Able to perform overtime when required.
