Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Contribute to and offer unbiased perspective to the development of the company's long-term strategy and business plans.
  • Ensure high standards of governance and related processes including ethical practices.
  • Provide independent judgement on financial performance, critical business decision, regulatory compliance and other compliance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian laws and the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance (MCCG).
  • Promote transparency and accountability in decision-making processes.
  • Contribute to sustainability and innovation strategies in glass manufacturing.
  • Ensure the interests of shareholders and stakeholders are balanced with the company's long-term objectives.
  • Serve on board committees, including audit, compensation, and governance.
