Job Summary:Supermicro is seeking a Senior Sales Director to lead the sales process and drive business growth through various marketing activities and collaborations with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, logistics, and programs. This role involves evaluating new and existing opportunities for our computing solutions and working with prospects to understand their needs and goals, ultimately negotiating successful partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and define customer demands, and work with the internal team to deliver solutions that meet the highest customer satisfaction standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with large enterprise direct accounts, telcos, e-commerce, data centers/cloud service providers, HPC, and related business opportunities.
- Create high-quality pipelines with ecosystem partners and promote our products/solutions/services proactively.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships and relationships with existing and new customers.
- Provide regular updates on progress and support needed.
- University degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in a high-tech industry.
- A minimum of 12 years of sales and enterprise business development experience is desirable.
- Requires a thorough knowledge of the x86 server, storage, networking, and cloud/data center business.
- Proven working experience in server solution management/business development or a relevant role with strong data center/enterprise customer connections.
- Presentation skills, teamwork skills, communication and negotiation skills, problem-solving skills, self-motivation, customer service skills, leadership skills, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- A consistent track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in English.
