Job Description

This role involves driving revenue growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and building a high-performing sales team in Malaysia.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and execute an overall sales strategy and business plan to achieve revenue targets and market expansion.
  2. Sales Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  3. Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders to drive customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction.
  4. Sales Activities: Drive sales activities, including prospecting, lead generation, customer presentations, negotiations, and contract closures.
  5. Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new business opportunities and drive product development and enhancements.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with marketing initiatives and product roadmap.
  7. Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis to senior management.
Competencies and Qualifications
  1. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Sales Experience: Proven track record of success in a senior sales leadership role, preferably within the SaaS industry.
  3. Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  4. Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  5. Analytical Skills: Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to drive informed decision-making.
  6. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Edutech industry and its challenges.
