We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Field Specialist to join our Commercial department in Ipoh, Perak. This role will involve convincing top restaurants in Malaysia to partner with foodpanda.
Responsibilities:
- Drive B2B sales by securing new partnerships with vendors.
- Conduct market research and identify potential partners in the food and beverage industry.
- Be a local market expert and provide recommendations for improving our services.
- Gather feedback from restaurants and shops, monitor competitor activity, and provide suggestions for growth.
- Sell foodpanda's services to potential vendors through cold calls, walk-ins, and in-person meetings.
- Meet sales targets and performance-based goals while working independently.
- Participate in our international network and high-skilled team.
- Gain an inside perspective of our fast-growing business by being responsible for the business from day one.
- Manage a portfolio of vendors and exceed goals for account retention, development, and maintenance.
What You Need To Be Successful
- A degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 2 years of work experience in consulting, e-commerce, or start-ups.
- Strong management skills to motivate and lead your team.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules, including evenings and weekends.
- Outgoing and confident personality with excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure, even when remotely.
- Proactive and able to lead independent projects.
